Halo Orbit 2023 – Where Innovation Took Flight
Halo hosted its inaugural Orbit conference, welcoming 150 partners at the McLaren Technology Centre – an exclusive privilege thanks to our Official Technology Partners at McLaren Racing.
In the spirit of transparency, CEO Paul Hamilton guided partners through our philosophy, major company updates, stats and financial figures, paving the way for a deep dive of HaloITSM, while HaloPSA and HaloCRM showed how we are revolutionising the service delivery of MSPs and customer service respectively. We ended our morning session with a talk by partners Excalibur Data Systems and Softcat.
The conference then shifted its focus towards our McLaren partnership, welcoming all guests for a tour of the venue to explore the iconic British brand’s history, followed by a talk regarding their use of HaloITSM to accelerate their team to success. A Q&A with Dion Dublin, Entrepreneur, and former professional footballer then marked the end of Orbit 2023.
Let’s launch into more detail!

Real World Testimonials from Halo Partner
At the forefront of our Partner Programme is Dan Mostafavi, Head of Channel Partnerships at Halo. Dan illuminated the diverse spectrum of partnerships we offer and how they operate. He emphasised the nature of the partnership, where Partners play a pivotal role in shaping Halo’s strategic direction and the evolution of our platform. As part of our 5-year plan, we aspire to make 90% of Halo’s implementations Partner-led and for 70% of licenses to be distributed by our valued Partners.
We invited esteemed partners, Michael Fuson and Robert Goguen from Excalibur Data Systems, and Matt Ward from Softcat, to share their experiences. Excalibur Data Systems highlights the significant benefits of partnering with Halo. After evaluating thirty options, they found Halo to be the perfect fit due to our extensive product offerings, active enhancement pipeline, customer-centric approach, and adaptable licensing options.
Halo’s Partner Programme is more than just a business arrangement; it is a partnership built on trust, collaboration, and shared success. We are excited to continue this journey, empowering our partners to thrive and evolve alongside us!
Embracing ‘The Halo Way’: The Visionary Approach to Work
Our CEO, Paul Hamilton, introduced ‘The Halo Way’ which encompasses the Halo philosophy, leadership style, organisational structure, but most importantly the significance of empowering employees with the freedom and trust to pursue their passions through their work.
Paul referenced Brooke’s Law, illustrating the power of a compact development team in enhancing efficiency. Fewer lines of communication within a smaller team structure streamline our operations, ensuring that we remain agile and responsive as we continue to evolve.
Achieving 100% annual growth for the last 3 years, our vision for Halo is to become a true market leader, achieving $1 billion revenue by 2028. We’ve recently announced that Halo will not be involved in any mergers, acquisitions, or private equity deals for a rolling 10-year period. We are about building lasting partnerships founded on trust, mutual success, and a genuine dedication to providing service – aspiring to be the most Partner-led vendor in the industry.
Paul’s further inspirations are to accommodate for such growth – our Stowmarket HQ was finished just 18 months ago, but this will soon be outgrown, calling for the creation of ‘Halo Park’ – a groundbreaking office facility designed in the shape of the Halo Icon, with the road leading to it aptly named ‘Halo Way.’ We are also continuing to expand to more offices globally, with the recent launch of a new base in Dubai and exploring options in east coast USA and China.
Exploring our Exclusive McLaren Partnership
As part of the Halo Orbit event, attendees had the privilege of attending a tour of the renowned McLaren Technology Centre. This unique experience not only delved into the rich history of McLaren but also provided an up-close look at their most innovative cars, including their first ever road car.
Following the tour, McLaren’s representatives have joined us to deliver a talk to our partners, to share their firsthand experiences of how HaloITSM has played a pivotal role in enhancing their productivity and accelerating collaboration across all areas of the team.
A Memorable Finale with Dion Dublin
To bring our Halo Orbit event to an end, we were joined by Dion Dublin, ex-Cambridge United and Manchester United player for an engaging Q&A session hosted by Rosa, our Technical Account Manager.
Dion’s journey, from his notable appearances on “Homes Under the Hammer” to his ventures in creating musical instruments and managing a successful property development company, exemplifies how unwavering drive and ambition can lead to success. Dion’s insights resonated with ‘The Halo Way’, underscoring the significance of mindset and attitude as powerful catalysts for personal and professional growth.
“Attitude will succeed so much more than talent, because you can teach somebody something, but nobody wants to work with someone with a bad attitude”
Dion Dublin
