Data Storage And Security
Where is my data stored?
The application and database are hosted on AWS servers. This allows them to be highly available and reliable as well as providing strong data security.

Data backups
Databases are synced over multiple AWS availability zones to allow system failover if a failure is encountered in the primary data centre.
Data is also backed up to cloud storage hourly and retained for three days. These backups are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and store in AWS S3.
How is my data stored?
Halo uses a multi-database multi-tenant architecture with each customers data separate from each other. Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 standards and data in transit uses TLS 1.2.
