Etilize Integration
In this guide we will cover:
- What is the Etilize Integration?
- Setting up the Etilize Catalogue
- Adding Etilize Items to Quotes/Sales Orders/Purchase Orders
What is the Etilize Integration?
Etilize can be integrated with Halo to bring in a catalogue of items to add into quotations.
Setting up the Etilize Catalogue
There are very few steps required to set up the Etilize integration - simply head to Configuration > Integrations > Etilize and enable the module.
Fig 1. Etilize Module
In here, set your default Locale and default Catalog. In this case I am in the UK, so I configure it the following way.

Item Group for new Items - When an Etilize item is added to a quotation this item will be created in your Halo instance. All items in Halo must belong to an item/product group. This setting will determine which group new items will be created under. If *Use the Etilize Product Category" is selected the "Product Group" mappings table will be used to determine which item group new items are created under.
Use the "Product mappings" table to map Etilize product categories to Halo product groups. This will control which group new items from Etilize are created under.

Show category, manufacturer, and attribute filters when searching Products - When enabled you will have the additional filter options of category, manufacturer and attributes when searching Etilize products to add to quotations.
If you have either the TechData Reseller or Ingram Micro integration enabled, you will also have options to choose the default tenant you would like to use when searching Etilize items.

Only Show Items that have prices (v2.216+) - When enabled, when searching items in the Etilize catalogue only items that have prices will be returned in the search. Price data is obtained from reseller catalogues such as Tech Data or Ingram Micro, therefore one of these must be integrated for pricing information to be available. When enabled you must also set the "Number of priced Items to display", this will control how many items are returned in the search. When restricting results to only items that have prices, the search will take longer to return results. The higher the value in "Number of priced Items to display" the longer the search will take.
Adding Etilize Items to Quotes/Sales Orders/Purchase Orders
Following the above module being enabled, you will find a new option against Quotes, Sales Orders & Purchase Orders: 'Add Etilize Item'.

Selecting this will open a search window (using the default options selected above). Simply search in the search bar, select the product(s) you want to add to the Quote/Order & click confirm selection.
Fig 6. Product Catalogue
This will automatically create respective products in Halo and place them under the relevant Etilize group (or create a product group if one does not yet exist). As shown in figure 7 These are the product groups from Etilize which can be mapped to Halo product groups. When adding an Etilize product to a quote the product gets created in Halo, if you make mappings the created product can automatically go to the right place depending on your mapping.
